I have a 94 Ranger, 4cyl, after driving for a short period of time and stop and kill engine, truck will not start. Starter is turning over, just seems to not crank. After truck sets for about 30 minutes, it will crank again. No problems while going down road, such as surging. It will always crank while cold. Have previously replaced timing belt, plugs & wires, idle throttle position sensor, EGR valve, Idle air control valve assembly for other problems that were occuring and it has been running good. Now this is happening. Check engine light does come on after driving for a while. Mechanics don't know what to do either. Does anyone have any clues? thanks.

me confused...........when you have the issue does the truck turn over=crank.

I would not go back to that mechanic because if you have a CEL and he does not know enough to read the codes........stay away from that moron......you need to read the codes..........
