Its very easy to figure gas mileage as long as your odometer works. Divide the mileage by the number of gallons and presto you know your gas mileage. Then multiply that by your fuel tank capacity and dont run too close Example: Fill the tank.... Drive 100 miles....Then fill the tank again. Say it takes 6.5 gallons to fill it. You know your getting 15.38 M.P.G. My truck has a 16.5 gallon tank so in a perfect world I would get 253.7 miles to a tank full. Not pushing it I would fill up at 220 miles.
