Get the timing belt from slipping off FIRST It'll help

My timing belt stays on just fine with NO timing cover (yes I know that's bad for it).
You have a tensioner or line-up problem you need to address.

It might be whats pissing off the computer you never know

so it turned out to be the crank sensor and the angle sensor. I took it to ford and paid 97 bucks to have it diagnosed. They want a grand to fix it. Yea right, I am going to tear it down and I guess there is an little plastic alignment tool that to position the sensor for the harmonic balancer to move through. It's a brand new sensor so ford wants to replace it instead of re align it. My question is that 1.) what is an angle sensor? 2.) any input or tips for alignment?

took the truck to ford to pay $100 have it diagnosed. They want a grand to fix the angle sensor or cam position sensor that sits under the intake. Does that sensor need to be in a particular angle. I have it now the plug faces the drivers side firewall. I didn't use the alignment tool when I put the harmonic balancer on. So that is the problem. Tearing back into it tomorrow. Any tips?
