Default Reset check engine light

Hey guys, I was hoping somebody could tell me how to reset my check engine light after a repair.

I've been told to disconnect the battery for 5-10 minutes and I've been told to drive it between 50-100 miles and it will reset on it's own.

I'm putting in a new DPFE sensor in a little bit, so hopefully I'll get a more clear answer here. Thanks guys.

Disconnect your neg battery terminal, pump the brakes a few times, and reconnect.

That too, lol. IMHO an Ultra Gauge is worth its weight in gold. All of those gauges, and it reads & clears trouble codes too.

I just put in a new DPFE sensor. So I disconnect the battery for 10 min, then reconnect it and drive it for a while to see if the CE light comes back on?
