I have a 2004 step side with the little 4 banger engine, very well maintained. I just turned 84,000 trouble free miles. About a week ago the truck has become more and more difficult to start when cold. I have replaced plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter, and fresh gas with gumout fuel inector cleaner. Still when you try to start it when cold it cranks and cranks then misses and chokes and stumbles and then finally starts. Truck runs perfectly all day and idles so smoothly you can stand a nickle up on the fender. If you shut the truck off and start it again,it starts like the day it left the factory with no problems. It only happens when the truck sits over night or for long periods and gets cold. Any ideas???? It has my friends and I completly baffled.
Thanks for your help!
