Someone with a carb on there ranger. Due me a favor:

remove the fuel line where it goes into the fuel filter (from the pump on the block)

Does fuel SHOOOOOOT out, or trickle?

If I'm correct I should have spray from positive pressure, when the clamp is first loosene, just for a second. I have barely a trickle (didn't get me fuelly).

Both tanks are completely FULL. less than 30mi since filled up.

Dead fuel pump? Clogged fuel line somewhere? Clogged NEW filter?

It's not going to come spraying out unless the motor is running/turning over. Otherwise theres no fuel pressure.

If it seems like youre getting fuel, check spark. Spray some starter fluid in the carb is you still suspect it's a fuel issue. If it fires right up, then you know it's a fuel issue.

The fuel tank swap-over valve was stuck with crap.

Hooked up my air compressor to it and blasted it out. Started right up
