Re: 97 2.3t ideas. what are best plans.
I'm in the process of turbo'ing a stock, thats right stock, 97 2.3. Gonna run 8 psi and doing some safety stuff, walbro 255 pump, 42lb injectors and 90mm maf. Otherwise once all the parts get in i might do a build thread, maybe.
Besides that easiest way is turbo coupe rod and pistons, hx35 turbo(dodge diesel), e6 manifold, 90mm maf and injectors, same pump as above and intercooler and programmer. Formula for 300+ whp.
I'll be just over 200whp im guessing.

2.3l turbos are some of the toughest most reliable high horsepower engines ever made. Hands down

Re: 97 2.3t ideas. what are best plans.
The 2.3 engines make some of the absolute best road-race engine combos. If you are not familair with the capabilities, copy a T-Bird SC and then go from there.
I love the 2.3's for it's HP abilities, and good fuel mileage abilities.
