Default New guy here!!! Weird noise

Hello all i have a 93 ranger 4cyl 5 speed 2wd andi just bought it last week..
I have noticed that it has a high pitch whine at any speed in 1st,2nd,3rd, and 5th gear and it is constant when you have your foot on the gas and does it the worst in 5th on the highway....other than that no other problems....I don't know if it in the engine (doesn't sound like it) or in the transmission or the clutch, throw out bearin, diferential or what!! Does anybody have any ideas??? Thanks in advance

Hmmm, while you are in there definately replace the clutch and bearing. It is a 93' and odds are that it won't out live the newer one, but it would suck to find out the ToB is failing after all is said and done. Can't help you with the fitment, I would think it would only be a matter of the bell if not.
