Not yet because i rushed to build this truck ( 2 trucks into 1 good truck) to get it into the body shop to be painted by friday and i didn't think about the differential fluid until i was on my way with it to the body shop....Does anybody know for sure what type fluid the transmission is suppose to have???

mercon automatic transmission fluid

94 2.3 5 speed regular cab,no intake muffler, ,k&n air filter,silverstar headlamps,aftermarket driving lights,cd player,aftermarket shift knob, looking to buy and install cold air intake,performance exhaust and chip if i can find one.

check the pressure plate,throw out bearing, pilot bearing when you have the trans out.. wont hurt to look while you got it out ;-)

my truck does the same thing except it sounds like its coming from one of my tires and if im going about 2-3 miles a hour it does it then it stops for a sec then it does it again could this be bad barings or what and dont make fun of me if that sounds dumb im kinda a noob at all this thanks

mine does it at any speed whatsoever as long as i am pressing the gas pedal... I stillcan't decide if it's clutch or trans.. sounds like clutch but then again i think its got to be the trans since it doesn't make the noise in 4th gear..
