Default Need help

Hey im new here but need some help. I have a 1991 ranger 4 cyl and its having a problem. It runs fine in the afternoon but for some reason it will not crank. It trys to but wont turn over, I can go home after work and it fires right up and can be driven around. THis seems strange. Thanks for the help in advance.

Could your starter motor be going bad?

well have you tried hammering on the starter solenoid while someone turns the key? that would be my first move. if that works its your starter.

not yet, it will crank as long as there isnt any moisture outside. But I can try that in the morning. I think something is getting wet somewhere

Its not the starter. I am however stumped. I can go home in the afternoons and crank it up as many times as I want, but as soon as I try at 7 in the morning it trys but wont fire. Im not sure what could be getting mositure in it to stop it from fireing.
