Default 2.3 ford ranger smokey

my dad has a question for every one on his 1986 2.3. it smokes a little. white smoke. it has a lot of miles and he wants to know if there is anything to get the smoke to stop. z-max? or any additives? thank you

try a tune up if that dont work try a can of engine restore 4 cyl formula it comes in a silver soda can sized container.

by the way white smoke means it is probably running to lean if it is carbureted try rebuilding the carb sometimes all you have to do is back off the fuel mixture screw a little if it is fuel injected it could be a number of things start with the cheapest fix as always
