Engine degreaser/windshield cleaner ? ? ?

i'm just wondering if I need to cover up the distributer and sparkplugs if I spray down the engine bay with degreaser? and I don't know the technical term for the deal that sprays the cleaner on the winshield from the two black deals on the hood, it won't spray but the tank is full...help?

i never covered anything up when i cleaned engines...just dont spray those things directly with the hose

That's wht windshield washer system. When you hit the button that's supposed to squirt it on the windshield does the pump make noise? You gotta take the piece out all the way on the bottom that connects from the tank to the hose that goes to the fittings and there's a little screen in there take it out and clean it might be plugged up and put it back In. Or your nozzles are clogged. I think my passenger one is clogged
