Default Turbo 97 2.3

Hey people, first thread, I'm looking to turbo my Ranger. I would like to put a turbo on my stock engine so I dont have to mess with the electronics. I'm going to get a second engine to build up. My questions are:
1. Can a ported 2 plug head flow enough to support decent HP?
2. Is a T3/T4 hybird turbo a good selection?

or if i need to step to a single plug head and an older 2.3, is it a plug and play in place of what I have now? Thanks for the help

They can help you better here: http://www.turborangerforums.com/

Not trying to get rid of you or anything but the experience and answers are more there than here for turbos.

You need forged internals.

Keeping stock crank as it is same as Turbo engine 2.3. But will go forged pistons and rods. I am also on that forum, just getting as much help as possible.

There are no cheap shortcuts to doing it right.
