Question SRS Connectors

Hi guys and gals. I have an 04 2.3 manual trans. that I bought a year ago. I've methodically eliminated all problems except one... maybe two. The srs light blinks a code of 46, which translates to the connectors under the seat(s) not being hooked up correctly (my interpretation). So, I pulled the passenger seat out after disconnecting the battery. Lo and behold, there are no receptacles for the connectors that are attached to seats to go into. So, where do these plugs connect? they're there, just nowhere to go. I'm wondering if this truck was refitted. I bought it used from a "shady" dealer for 3600 bucks which I still think was a great buy. All the stuff in the engine compartment was in pristine or brand new condition. I do mean "all". I noticed a slit in the floor carpeting and there is a black wrapped wire bundle running under there but can't trace it without removing the carpet. If it's in the cab though, it's gotta be for something in there right? Anyone know about this stuff? I don't want to resort to disabling the light if I don't have to.

Unless it's different cause of year the 46 code is drivers side and 47 is passenger side. The wire coming through the floor, plugs into the pretensioner connection which will be up under the seat. make sure they are clean (dry toothbrush) put some dielectric grease on them and reconnect them. If you are still getting a code after cleaning and reconnecting them, then your pretensioner may have fired and will have to be replaced.
