Smile Engine Swap 2006 in a 2004 Auto to Manual

I am swapping out a 2004 2.3L from a manual for a 2006 2.3L from an automatic. I need confirmation on what considerations are required other than the obvious such as flywheel, clutch plate, pressure plate, pilot bearing, wiring harness. Is it necessary to swap the 2004 manual intake manifold onto the 2006 engine? Or is there some other modification that will allow me to retain the 2006 automatic intake manifold? Also what other modifications are required?
Thanks, Don

I have a number of Rangers - currently working on a 2004 Ranger 2.3L four cylinder with manual transmission. I am swapping the motor and looking to replace with a 2006 2.3L from an automatic. Need help in determining what must be done to make the swap, i.e. wiring, intake, compatible??? Thanks for any help.
