Hi everyone, just thought I'd drop an update.
Did some diagnostic testing today.
the TPS and MAF tested good. Here is what we did find though. Apparently these vehicles are known for coking issues within the throttle body.
carbon that was cleaned out of the throttle body. was blocking the airflow and causing turbulence of the air making it thru.
While we were in there took apart the air box and found a gnarly air filter, so I replaced that as well
After all of this we found that the Prev Owner had dicked with the idle screw ( you know, the one you shouldn't mess with) so we had to adjust that down as well.
Truck idles now and that is pretty sweet, lol.
