95 2.3 swap in 87 ranger possible?
I was going to pick one up when I read that they eliminated the distributor hole on 95 and up 2.3s. My question is, is there a way to actually drill the distributor hole in the block and make it work?

you could rewire the truck with the 95 harness and not have to worry about it

yeah when i first looked at my block today i said to myself "damn that was a really dumb post". Anyway, I ended up getting the 95 engine and swapping out the rods/pistons into the old block. I plan on using the 95 cylinder head and intake mani though. There shouldn't be any problems with that I think. Maybe some lengthening of some wires to the sensors, but I don't see much more to it.

yeah its the 8 plug head. I was just going to use the 4 plugs and forget about the other 4. Unless there is something wrong with doing that?

Wow! I just keep posting really dumb ideas. I realized when I got over to the truck that using the dual plug head and intake mani, I wouldn't be able to put the dizzy on. Ok guys, sorry, Ill look twice before I post something up again....
