One line is definitly smaller in diameter. Also because the bracket is rotted away, does this unit need to be grounded externally? And is their a way to check it electrically? with a volt meter? Again its a 99 ranger 2wd 2.5.
i thinnk you answered your own question. I looked at mine and the smaller tube witch is closer to the pssenger side goes into the smaller nipple that comes out of the middle of the egr tube. the other tube witch is bigger and closer to the drivers side goes to the bottom of the egr tube
I cant answer the ground question but these sensr do fail and I can not image them boucing around helping anything.....go to the JY and get a new bracket.
