Hmm, I custom fabbed a front draft ram air set-up on my 02. It is very effective from my initial observations.

Looked into hood scoop and yea they do not look so hot, and well with the placement of the air boxes it would take quite a bit of custom work to make a set-up fit and work properly. IMHO

If you do not care that it's a waste of time, you'll see little or no increase in performance, that they're on there for a reason - to reduce emissions, and that it's also a federal offense, by all means remove your cat. After all, it's much easier to hack parts off and think you've actually accomplished something than it is to to do any real performance increasing mods.

all i am saying is that i have removed mine on all 6 vehicles i have owned and i have picked up a little more power on everyone and it adds a cool little sound but hey what do i know it is a offense so be careful and remember half of what we do to upgrade our vehicles is prohibited in alot of states.
