Default Intake Gasket?

Hey guys, i got the codes checked on my check engine light and it coded misfire on #1 cylinder and that the motor was running lean and it was lean at the O2 sensor. After some checking ive notcied that the motor is sucking in air at the intake gasket right at the #1 cylinder. Would this cause the miss and the engine dying at idle and how hard of a job is it to change the gasket. Im really hopefull that its just the gasket and the intake itself is not cracked.

It could. They are cheap at napa, and its not that hard to replace. Its also a good time to replace the spark plugs since its pretty much impossible to get at them with the intake on.

Is it one solid gasket or is it 4 indvidual ones around the cylinders? I got the kit today and the ones they gave me are for the intake manifolds and there are 4 small gaskets and one for the egr tube and the egr valve and i dont think there the right ones. I hope i dont have to buy the whole upper plentum to get the gasket.

what year, and use photobucket or something and take a picture for us to help you. Shouldn't need to buy anything but the gasket kit. My year intake gasket is one solid piece. Not sure on the older or newer, but I would say solid on all.

Problems fixed for now, there is a seal on the intake where the shaft for the butterflys come out and the seal had fallen out. Instead of spending $300 for a new intake i just made a new piece to seal the hole, changed the spark plugs, cleaned the IAC and mass air flow, and changed the intake gaskets and its running fine now.
