I plan on doing the very same thing with my '96. Advice I was told was, Go to a pick-n-pull and find a donor With a Durstec 2.3E, (Calif.), and get the engine, engine loom, and the EEC.
My game plan is to rebuild the Deratec with Cosworth parts and maybe a Garett T-4. There's a lot of research you need to do before considering a engine swap............
