Default abs light

would my abs light remain on if the parking brake cables been cut out???

also would a bad speed sensor on the tranny make it stay on cause my speedometer isnt working and neither is the odometer i replaced the sensor on the differential with no luck so will be replacing the one on the tranny soon

some thoughts...........I think your speedometer/odometer sensor is in the side of the tranny.

I dont think your abs has anything to do with the parking brake cable......you should have another brake light that comes on for that.

check the fuse for your abs a blown fuse will turn the abs light on..............

do you have rabs or 4 wheel abs?

more than likely its the ABS sensors, common, cld try cleaning the surfaces

Check your brake fluid level. My old 2.3 had that and the ebrake light come on when the brake fluid level was low. Common in 93-97 rangers, Supposedly Ford made it that way

He said his ABS light is on..........on my 99 truck I have a ABS light and a BRAKE light. the BRAKE light comes on when the ebrake is on or the brake fluid is low....................I think the senosr in the DIff if for the RABS. He said he replaced that sensor...........I asked him if he checked the FUSE but he refuses to answer...........I guess he thinks we are mind readers
