Default weird beeping
i have a 97 2.3 2wd ranger i found by the passenger kick panel two connectors white and black that werent plugged in it seemed to have made the ranger run a lil better but since i have plugged them in i get a beeping sound almost like a door ajar sound but not quite it just randomly happens while im driving it down the road any ideas to what this is any help is appreciated

it has something to do with the airbag system, where the hell are those plugs again, I want to unplug them if it makes the beep go away!!! LOL

It does this in all 3 of my fords, 2 rangers and expedition. The air bag system is intact and has no problems that I am aware of.

I think I read somewhere that this is a tamper proof for if the airbag light is removed from the dash or something to that affect.

ah i see the air bags have both been taken out on my truck i heard that it would be fine jus unplugging the black connector but wanted to make sure i havent tried to do so yet but will def try it
