Arrow Just did timing belt, throwing PO300 code

Well I just finished doing my timing belt that broke. Have driven it to work twice and tonight i was letting it warm up before i left and i came out and the check engine light came on. so I ran inside got the OBD II and its said random, multiple cylinder misfire.

Could this be that my timing belt is off? It wasn't doing it saturday so i was wondering if it could be my plugs? the cables? it seems to run fine when I give it gas which makes me think electrical.... any ideas?

It could be clogged fuel injectors try some techron, it could also be the plugs. If you done your timing belt wrong I doubt it would run I could be wrong though. Wait also for another experience person to answer as well.

Alright well here is the deal. Took it to a Mech. and he told me to do plugs, wires, coil packs, throttle body cleaning, then injectors. And I have replaced every F#%K@$G part at almost 400$ and If its just dirty injectors im going to be pissed.

If the mechanic told you, he is probably right. Did the code go off yet?

It depends on the mechanic, he might have been looking for a boat payment. The best theory I've seen is to go cheap and simple and work your way up to the more expensive stuff if they don't work. In this case, it would have been fuel injector cleaner and cleaning the throttle body.

Web sites like this are great for saving you money since there is no pay check involved, just owners helping owners. Hope the injector cleaner does the job for you.

I'm gonna come up with another simple approach. Disconnect the battery for ten minutes. Maybe your 'puter is adapting from bad belt to new belt and needs to start off using default timing values again. Shot in the dark.
