Default Rough Idle

Okay so i have a 2002 2.3l 4cyl (automatic), and when i start her up she idles high for at least 5secs then proceeds to idle at 1000rpms, now when i put her in either drive, reverse she starts loping i know that for a fact cause i can hear it through my exhaust also i can feel it when its coasts off from 0mph it jerks. Alll i wannna know is whats could be the causes of this i have replaced plugs and wires, Idle Air Control Valve and fuel filter, nothing has fixed it i was thinking maybe its an injector but i dont know, if anyone has experienced this or has atleast a clue of what maybe wrong i would appreciate the advice/help.

Thanks

Clean your MAF (Mass air Flow) and see if that works

you should spend your money on a scan tool then throwing it in parts like flush money down the toliet. these new cars and trucks ecm are so fast that you can't even spary starting fuild on the intake to see if the engine changes idle for a vacum leak. the ecm changes everything that fast. so my 2 cents is get a good scan tool if you have a laptop PC you can get the cable and software pretty cheap. try to get one that will let you "MAP" sencers or its not a very good one...or graph sencers over a time period.. good luck.

If you have an AutoZone near you. They will read the Code for free & tell you what they mean.
