Question 2001 XLT 2.5 stalling rough idle

My ranger just started having trouble idleing when it is started

It wont hold an idle at all unless i hold the gas and manualy rev it to about 1k RPMs

once it warms up a bit it will run at low idle between 500 and 700 RPMS and still has a chance of stalling

now today it wouldnt hold idle at all and only stayed in the 700 RPM range and I had a great loss in power on my way home from work

any suggestions?

I did search for idle issues and stalling but came up short

I had a friend with an OBD tool scan the truck and came back with three codes

"MANFAC CONTROL AUX EMISSION CONTROL"

"EGR FLOW EXCESSIVE"

"MANF CONTROL VEH SPD IDLE SPEED CONTROL AUX INPUTS"

obviously ill either clean or replace my EGR but what are the other two codes caused by?

IT IS PROBABLY NOT YOUR EGR SENSOR, JUST CLEAN IT OUT.

next time post the actual code #'s.

the first one is proably p1400/1401. I would check the hoses on the dpfe sensor and makes sure they are connected and not roken, if they are fine. the sensor is proably bad

the second code is proably p0402, this is praobly from the dpfe sensor

the third code is proabbly dealing with your iacv. pull it off and clean it out(maintance issue) . it could also be a vacuum link.........my 2 cents
