Default Re: 2011 Ford Ranger 4x2 in Snow

to improve the performance of a 4 cyl 2.3 get a reg cab. An ext cab is heavier and you wont get a good performing 4 cyl 2.3.

if you want a decent snow 4 cyl get this:

a reg cab stick shift newer ranger 2007 and newer with cooper discoverer a/t 3 tires size 225/70/15 and use the manual tranny to your advantage. lets say u driving 35 mph on snow keep it on third and feather the gas so u dont apply lots of torque to rear wheels and slow down is the key. 4x4 means nothing if you go fast in snow.
2010 Ranger XL Reg. Cab 4 cyl... 5 speed manual... W/reverse.

Mods: 5% tint on rear window, JVC KDHDR40 Headunit, Kicker KS-68 speakers, Kicker TCVT102 (10TCVT102) Sub, JVC DRVN KSAX3102 Amp, JVC DRVN KSAX3101D mono amp, Ford black rubber mat, White LED license plate lights. Added 6000k HID Fogs, 6000k Digital HID Heads.

This isn't gramhar skool so dont cry and whine about spelling.
