Default 1992 Ranger 2.3L 4 Cyl / 5 Speed Help?

Ok I have been having problems with my little 1992 Ranger 4 cyl 2.3L 5 speed with 167.000 miles on it.As the check engine light comes on and then when on take off like it doesn't want to wind out as you have to floor it to take off.I have changed the TPS,MAF and cleaned the IAC & Throttle body like new.But it's like when I turn the heat on it does it quickly? It has been doing the C.E.L off and on the last 3 days. And when you come to idle when C.EL is on it idles rough and like it wants to go dead.Any help me please have got a full tank of gas and tried Lucas gas treatment and used sea foam down intake also and still no good.Plz help, could it be the (EngineCoolantCensor) that could do this as someone said it could cause that as it has a vacuum line on it?

Have you checked fuel pressure and volume?

Mine did same thing.I cut off catalist converter . Runs fine now and no light. Not saying that is what you should do.Or will fix it.Put new o2 sensor in mine before the cat was gone no differnce. It was cloged up. making sensor put out code.

Is there away to check O2 sensor with ohm meter or can you take it off and see it is bad?I have a ohm meter..

Update:I also check fuel pressure and its not that.Going to check the o2 sensors now.Can I check them with ohm meter as they are how many on mine 3 O2 sensors?

sounds like fuel pressure issues?, high idle is usually cause by bad EGR. when u get it running right, and it still idles up, insert BB (from a BB gun) into EGR line and push back on. BB is to large to fall into EGR and line is to small to suck it into the engine.. its an old trick ford users have been doin for years.. good luck

Ok after doing some more research and pulling the Coil packs off.I noticed this on the back coil pack closet to the firewall. In the pic's below should they be cracked like this and would this cause it to do this be weak going up hills or not, missing, etc. It has 3 cracks and then another on the other side worst than these.
