ohh ok gotcha. thanks.. do you think the different type of intake i guesss you call it ?cai? im not for sure, but if i went with that would that be a better idea all together?

located at the right rear corner of the intake manifold near the firewall

Little round deal with what looks like a spark plug wire coming off the center

Honestly I don't think they make them that far back I looked and only saw them go as far as 1995

oh have another question for you. ive heard of blocking of the EGR or making a plate to do block it off out of sheet metal. would this be a bad idea? i think it could be but not sure. and does it help any?

I did it on my 95 F-150 300CI 6cyl. Ithad more power afterwards & better MPG. it didn't throw a check engine light as the EGR still opened & closed like nomal, it just wasn't passing the hot gas thru but it doesn't check for flow. It checks for open or closed at least on my 95 it worked that way.
