93 ranger turbo

how hard is it to put a SVO turbo on a 93 2.3 ranger? what all does it take? can anyone help?

Easier to get a ford thunderbird turbo coupe and swap that engine and tranny in

U will need wiring harness computer transmission from the thunderbird

Putting a SVO turbo would mean alot of work. your stock ranger engine is not designed to run a turbo the internals are not strong enough. SO you would not be able to run a high boost

would all that pass emmisions? I live on the coast in tx and we have the emmisions testing. im not looking for a track truck just want a little more power and somethings that fun to drive this is my work truck. also i have the wheels off of my 01 gt and want to put them on what would that intail?

I would guess it will pass emissions your not really touching anything that controls the emissions.

Since this is your daily driver I would look at swapping in the thunderbird engine or a older mustang turbo engine.

Yeah, it'll pass emissions as long as you get a newer model turbo coupe for a donor car, and hook up all the emissions crap. Mainly, as long as everything is there, and it's not throwing any codes you'll be fine.
