Chips are useless and they don't work

You need ti invest in a tuner from SCT or diablosport.

Make it fast? You should have bought a 5.0 mustang. I would never want to even try to make my 2.5L 4 stroker "fast." I just sit at the sidelines and let the guys with real horsepower roll on by.

Rangers were never meant to be fast nor should they be made to go fast with stock engines. If you want a fast ranger, drop a muscle motor in it. That's your only option unless you want to completely ruin everything in your drive train.

I would skip the tuner and drop in a 2.3 Turbo engine from a 80's Thunderbird/mustang

Tuner will make it somewhat fast and better but not like your probably wanting.
