 2.3 motor in a 3.0 ranger, what's involved?
Gotta great 1990 4x4 ranger with a 2.3 5 speed, looking at a 1995 4x4 ranger with a 3.0 5 speed. What's involved with the swap? :

Will need computer, wiring harness, and transmission Not sure about the mounting

Ya it maybe I think the 4.0 is totally different I think though the vin code on the computer will need to be the same vin code for what transmission u are using

yes that should be all you need, you may need to fab a new motor mount but the factory may work
