Question HP difference

Does anyone here know the HP difference between a 2003 2.3 DOHC auto and a 2004 3.0 OHV auto?

I have the 3.0 and someone wants to trade me for their 2.3 DOHC.
I'm almost certain that they're not going to gain more than 7 HP and correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there A LOT more engine mods you can do to a 2.3 DOHC?
I'd like to hear from the Vulcan guys and the 4-cylinder guys

3.0 154hp @ 5200 RPM

Are you sure you're not talking about the old 2.3?
If the DOHC only has 119 HP. What kind of HP did the 2.5 have?
That's crazy.
What kind of mods other than adding a turbo could you do to make a 2.3 DOHC have 154 HP?

Yeah STL is right with the 3.0's hp, but he is confusing the Duratec 2.3 with the Lima 2.5. The Duratec 4 is 143 hp @ 5250RPM. And FWIW, the Lima 2.3 was 112hp.

Yeah, I looked up the specs on the Duratec last night and seen that it has 143 HP.
That's only 11 HP less than the 3.0. I'm sure you could make that 11 HP up pretty easily with a chip, electric fan and a underdrive pulley system.
I guess I should be honest and tell the High School kid to do a few mods.

true, there is only an 11 hp difference between the 2 but the Vulcan has like 25-35 more ft. lbs. of Tq.

Ok, I'm not 100% sure you could make that 11 HP up easily with a chip, electric fan and a underdrive pulley system.
Can someone help me out here?
And for all you hard core Vulcan fans, I'm selling a A+ 2004 3.0
You can check it out in the classified section if you're interested.
