Default tricks to routing Crank sensor wiring ?

I'm sure some of you have replaced the crank sensor on a 1992 2.3 .

Is there a trick to routing the wiring loom up through the timing cover back
housing ? Or do I have to remove all the timing belt parts to remove it ?

It appears that the TB tensioner bolts through that back housing . I just had a new TB installed and would hate to have to remove all these components just to route a short loom.

Default Re: tricks to routing Crank sensor wiring ?

Surely someone has replaced one of these ...

BTW , the 1992 2.3 has the crank sensor that comes with an 18" wiring loom with 2 connectors on the end . The problem is that the sensor and the connectors are both too large to fit throught the access hole in the TB cover .

Thanks for your help.
