Default 1999 Mazda B2500 (Ranger) Need Help

First off I would like to say that I am new here and sorry about posting here for help on a Mazda but hey its pretty much a Ranger . Any way I need some help finding out what the problem to my B2500 may be. The truck stumbles, shakes, and dies when accelerated hard. The truck shakes really bad after you accelerate it and returns to lower RPM. When you try to drive it you can really tell that it is low on power. I have changed the fuel filter, all 8 spark plugs, wires, air filter, oil, egr valve, pretty much every gasket, two exhaust valves because the truck had a stuck valve and no compression on cylinder 2 (which was fixed after the new valve was put in it). Also it did give off cylinder 2 misfire, and system 2 bank too lean, which have both been fixed misfire by replacing valve, and system 2 by replacing vacuum hose. It pretty much runs the same as it did when it had no compression on cylinder 2, even though it does have compression now. The truck only has 116K miles on it. Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

Let's try something cheap first. Put some Seafoam or Chevron Techron in the fuel tank and scrub your fuel injectors (up to 20 gallon size). It did a lot for me.

And don't worry about posting on a Ranger site with your Fordzda. I have a '98 B2500 Mazdawg as well as an '05 Ranger, so you're in good company!

The seafoam advice above may help, but I'm more inclined to think you have a fuel delivery problem. This could be caused by multiple things including (but not limited to) dirty MAF, clogged injectors, malfunctioning TPS, O2 sensors, clogged fuel filter, etc. If your compression checks good on all cylinders, which you have obviously checked, since you fixed the one that was bad, check fuel delivery.

Also, when was the last time you changed all 8 of the spark plugs?

I have tried seafoam no difference, chevron techron about a week ago same outcome. MAF is clean have checked, TPS was just changed today, front O2 sensor was changed, and fuel filter was just changed 2 days ago and still no change. Will check on the fuel injector though. All spark plugs were changed 2 weeks ago.

Ok, yeah. The individual injectors might be the thing then. They do go bad, just not very often...

Ok today I took the injectors to a local mechanic and had them off-car cleaned and tested and they work perfectly now. I installed them back onto the truck and still no difference. Also forgot to mention I have changed the timing belt within the last 3 weeks (have checked that at least 10 times to make sure it is in correct place; which it is).

Running out of ideas here. I can't think of the proper name for them right now. The power distribution blocks for the spark plug wires. Do they look good, no cracks? If not, one of them could be bad.

Check and double check your firing order of the plug wires with the book. I had that problem one time!

check if yours is guzzling antifreeze, my 2.5 started the same thing as you said like 3 years ago, stumbles, dies out at low rpm or when you let off the throttle, tried many things, firing, fuel delivery, valvetrain was checked and on the diagnostic it showed missfire number 1 and 3 still...it was then i noticed the antifreeze was turning brown in the expansion tank, turned out that the head was cracked and it was dumping compression between two cylinders and in the coolant passes, just check it out, i hope it helps you and i feel it will since all symptoms you reported i had them as well, i just hope you'd have better luck finding parts then me, i had to completely replace the engine, them damn 2.5L are pretty rare from where i'm from wish you luck buddy
