Default Engine Bogg

I have a 91 2.3L Custom 2WD, lately I've been having a problem where the engine bogg's down when giving it fuel. Changed the fuel filter but still acts like it's not getting fuel when in Drive, even Backfire's back through the throttle body! Runs great at idle and when it's cold but once it's warmed up the problem shows up?
