i bought a bottle of seafoam, didnt read the directions and dumped the whole bottle in the tank! well ill tell ya what it mausta really needed it. cause now the little truck feels like it has 25 more hamsters. upon reading the directions, i realized it only calls for a half bottle and the rest going onto the crankcase. Accelerates and climbs hills way better!! i checked MPG and it is sitting about 26 maybe 29 on highway, i put in 10 gals and went 327miles, but there was like 1.5-2.5gals left in tank upon fill-up. Give it a try boys, and write down the MPG.

best thing to do with high miles.....

a can in the tank, a can in the crank case and a can sucked through the brake booster vacuum line to the manifold.

works wonders

do it all about 200 miles before an oil change/ tune up though

I'm new not a mechanic but when you say crank case you mean where you put the oil in at,correct?

yup

pour it straight in the oil about 200 miles before an oil change

helps loosen up all the carbon and sludge

I did it to my Ranger. 1 can in the tank, 1/2 can in the crankcase and 1/2 can in the brake booster line. Did wonders for the truck after the tune up. One suggestion though....let the brake booster sip the Seafoam... You don't want to hydro-lock your engine .

NEVER put the whole can in your crankcase unless you like to replace bearings someday down the road. 1/3 in the tank, 1/3 in the crank case, and 1/3 in the brake booster vacuum line.

Paw always said theres nothing better for your car than a can of seafoam!
