Alright so i was messing around in a gravel parking lot and then my truck started to over heat and steam/smoke was coming out. so i popped the hood and checked everything. everything was covered in antifreeze and my upper radiator hose was busted. so i taped it up and drove it to a buddies house about ten miles down the road. so i went and got a new upper hose and then put that on and put more antifreeze in it. alright so i thought i fixed all the problems so i cranked it up and i was driving down the road and then it started to over heat again. i could hear this weird noise while i was driving down the road. it sounded like something was rattling under the hood? and then all the sudden my engine went dead and i lost power stearing. any ideas on what else could be wrong???

The racket is detonation from the extreme temperature. The most likely culprit is that you didn't refill the system all the way.

ok well i eventually got it to a shop to try to get it fixed. so hopefully that is good enough. but also when i was idling my truck was shaking really bad like it wasnt getting enough gas or something. idk though. but its at a shop so hopefully this guy can fix it for me.
