Interesting....my '04 is governed to 91 mph.
The solution? Slow down.

mines all over the place at its limiter (90). Not to mention its turning at super-high RPMs. I'm glad for the restriction.

The V6 engines are limited to 91....why the larger engines are limited to slower speeds does not make any sense to me...another baffling move on Ford's part. and Scooby Stew, our rangers here in the US are a little bit crappier than the UK ones, id love a TDCI, but they dont sell them here

Why anyone would want to go that fast anyway in a 4x4 pickup doesn't make any sense to me...

remove you speed sensor, going over 100 with a stock ranger is deadly, they are not made to handle at the speed

I didn't say anything about your engine, going over 100 is not smart your shocks, springs, brakes sway bars....are not made for that speed, yes your motor may have the power to do it but that doesn't mean you should. you can also just eat cookies for lunch but that also would not be a good idea, just because you can doen't mean you should

I wouldn't want to blow a tire at 100mph in anything...but especially a pickup.
