Stalling and now no pressure after a fuel pump replacement 98 2.5
I'm at a loss now. I've tried various Ranger forums and groups and not coming up with much. I had the fuel pump replaced about 2 months ago on a 98 2.5. The one that was in there was a Spectra. It kept stalling at stoplights one day while driving about 20 miles away. It got so bad I had to have it towed to a shop. It would start back up and run a few minutes and then stall in Park. I had the shop clean tank, flush the lines, and install a new fuel filter. The Spectra pump was no longer available so I went with a US Motorworks. After the shop put it in I filled the tank up and it only went to 3/4 full. Also the next couple days it would develop a hard start condition. The fuel pressure gauge would show an immediate drop in pressure once the key was shut off. Shop said to swap it out again. Well it started stalling again and devloping the immediate drop in pressure. Now I had it towed home because I don't feel it safe to drive. Checking for codes today. Replaced the fuel pump relay with a new one because didn't do it when I had the pump replaced. I did the KOER self test and it came up with P1000 because I had cleared the computer. It had a P0230 and P0232 but the light never came on. It may have shown up when the shop was doing the electrical integrity tests. Well no today it stalled again while idling in Park and it won't start back up. There is no fuel pressure at all registering. Inertia switch not tripped and fuse not blown. Is it possible the 3rd fuel pump is bad again?
