Question Hills

I have a 96 Ranger 2wd with a 2.3 and a 5 spd. On level ground the truck runs fine for a 4 banger. But if you are going any type of hill the truck bogs down real bad. I have seafoam the intake and ran some through the tank change the plugs and wires clean the thorttle body and replace the o2 sensors. It still has the stock exhaust until I can decide on a good aftermarket muffler. Any thoughts anyone.

Thanks

mine usually bogs down going uphill if im in 4th or 5th gear. not bad tho i just shift to 3rd to keep the speed up. i consider that normal on mine
oh and if the air conditioner is on its even worse but i assume thats normal too

I have heard that the Lima fours with automatic are pretty lethargic going up hills, but the manual should be a little better.

have you tuned it up? changed the fuel filter? done a fuel pressure test on it?
