Can anyone tell me where this black line from the top of the vacuum ball goes? It runs up along a coolant line and is plugged and I have no idea where it attaches or what gauge hose I’ll need to replace it. I’ll attach a picture. Any pictures that show exactly where this goes would be greatly appreciated. I’ve scoured the internet with no success. It’s summer and I’d really like to get my A/C going!
Thanks!

It goes to the vacuum reservoir, from there a vacuum line goes into the the cab. If you take the inner fender/splash guard off you’ll see the reservoir and where it goes through the fire wall, if that line is broken you’ll only have air come out of the defrost. I had the same problem. If that line is good you might need to replace the vacuum switch, that’s the selector which you turn to select which vents you want the air to come out of.
