Default Ranger 2.5L diesel prob

Hi,
I am new here..just wanted to ask the ranger guru here about my prob...
I m using ford ranger 2000 2.5L diesel supercab (as i am in Malaysia)
after searching in this forum, i could not see any of u that are using the same model of mine.maybe because i am in asia...

my problems are:

1. very hard to start when its cold. just changed the glow plug n checked the wiring.
2. when the car started(very hard), there will be a lot of white smoke coming out...after a while, it does not smoke any more.
3. my maximum rpm is about 3,500rpm and it cannot go any higher.even i floor the pedal.
4. when i am driving at night, i noticed when i suddenly press the accelerator, there will be smoke coming out the exhaust (not sure white or black) maybe white.(does not see the smoke while driving in the morning, maybe i couldn't see it)

so...does anyone have the same prob as mine..???lol...hope u all gurus can help me out..

post some pics up of that beast!! i have the same year gas baby!!

im no diesel guru, but they do smoke alot when you punch the throttle, and i know you need to let the glow plugs warm up some before starting it up. i wish we had some of ya'lls turbo diesel rangers here, then you might get some great answers!!!

I dont know if you guys have the same thing or not. EGR coolers?

Also the injectors may be bad. Allowing to much fuel into the cylinders.

White smoke after starting, if you had to stay on the starter for longer than 2 sec than it could be that your glow plugs still aren't working. Check for voltage at the plugs before you start it.

3500 rpm, have you replaced your fuel filter?

Smoke when floored, it is a diesel, they do that
