Default rear brakes too tight on '93 2.3

I just finished replacing the drums, shoes, cylinders, and hardware on my '93 ranger's rear and now they rub even with the adjuster screw backed all the way off. Any insights would be appreciated

well it could be anything from you just need to bleed to brakes to putting the wrong spring in the wrong spot and if you star wheel adjuster is totally closed mabye your caliper isnt fully collapsed?
