Default Oil in the water

1998 Ford Ranger pickup with the 4 cylinder, Manual transmission, 150K

I have oil in my water not water in the oil. Oil looks clean. I'm not sure where to look. Head gasket? Is there an oil cooler that could be leaking? Has a code for P03004 Misfire on cylinder 4.

Thoughts?

Default Re: Oil in the water

Maybe a cracked head, which leaks oul into the water jackets? But maybe a compession test on cylinder 4.
