Not that it matters this late, but it is little mentioned that the Chevy Vega has as bad or worse a record for fiery collisions as the often mentioned Pinto. They, GM, just got away with pointing the finger.
It was not a 'defective design', as some might say or imply, as the Mustang and Maverick both has fuel tanks that formed the actual floor of the trunk. The Pinto at least had another layer of sheet metal between the tank and the passenger/trunk compartments.
In many respects the Pinto was a better product than its competition. FWIW.

Good results in removing that shard of a spark plug. You should not have much debris if any inside the cylinder given that the ceramic blew out when you cranked it over.
