I just bought a 97 ranger and the ac was not working. He said it needs to be charged (dont they all) I got such a good deal it was worth having a faulty AC.. now im trying to fix it.. i added freon too it. The sustem was low then actually filled up.. it only works on full blast and its only like a breeze not cold air. Cheked the gauge again and its still full..

What could be causing that? All help is of coirse appreciated

It could be a blend door problem as far as the trickle of supply air. If the system was completely out then adding charge won't work well without pulling a vacuum first.
What are the pressures? Leaks don't fix themselves so find the leak or you will be going to Sam's Wholesale for a 30lb cylinder of 134A on a regular basis.
