Default 2000 2.5L 4-Cylinder

So i have a 2000 ranger with the 2.5 and automatic trans, i replaced pistons, bearings, and gaskets, and honed the cylinders. Its all back together and in the truck but it will not stay running. It starts up, idles for a few seconds then will cut off. Has oil pressure coolant and everything. Is there something i should have replaced as well or cleaned very good that might cause it not to run? Any ideas?

Timing? Or something to do with the firing order and the computer is automatically shutting the truck down before it damages itself. That’s my W.A.G. for the day...

I would check a few things offhand. Check that the fuel pressure is still available when it shuts off. If the pump stops, pressure developed in the 'pre-START' condition, when the pump runs for 3-5 seconds to build pressure in the fuel rail, is used up.
Put a fuel pressure gauge on the Schrader fitting and check.
A second thing to check would be spark. If the PIP signal stops(I think) the computer will turn off the fuel pump.
