Post 96 ranger 2.3l donor swap into 75 luv

im getting ready to install a low miles 2.3l from a 96 ranger into a 75 luv
ive got the entire harness and sensors from the ranger, steering collum, fuel tank, head and tail lights, the whole 9 yards.
i just dont have enough room for all of that lol if youve never seen a 75 luvs dash, its tiny and already full of ventwork (with no roof, im keeping the vents for sure)

so my question to you is, what is the bare minimum i need to run the engine with the stock ecu? is there a cheap aftermarket ecu for these engines that works?

I never heard of a 'minimal' ecu for one. A CHEVY LUV? I predict a lot of time will be used to make something that no one else in the whole world would find to be a desirable transportation vehicle. But to each their own.
They were ok little trucks. I can think of easier transplants. The EEC-IV systems were actually pretty simple. The only thing outside the engine bay that was necessary was the O2 on the underside of the manifold, but I guess that's inside. The computer sat in the passenger side kick panel, so was out of the way. The dash may have a CEL/SES light but that's about it.
It just needs 12V to operate, a ground, and a fuel pump that will supply 35-40psi with a return to the tank.
Add a 5 speed, (hydraulic clutch) and you have an engine with pretty good torque compared to the 2.0 in the LUV that won't be spinning like a top to reach 65.

its not a fake thread in the least. i have the truck, motor, trans, harness, and all of the wiring. its just too much to tuck in to the truck as is so i was hoping people here might know of parts of it that are not needed if you dont need to pass smog, or systems that could be shortened and essensially removed with a dummy sensor

and yes, i realise a luv is an odd choice, especially with the roof cut off, but i am going to be adding a cage and running it on track

i am also open to running a standalone, if somebody has a recomendation on a relatively cheao system that lets me use sensors and pickups that are stick to the engine

----------

recomendations on a spark box would also work, because if this block had a mount for a dizzy i would have already got one and fabbed up an intake to run carbs

i made an album with a few pics on here so you know im not some troll looking to waste your time

----------

so, now that i hopefully have a bit more credibility, ill restate what i am looking for.
a)a definitive list of what i do and dont need to run the stock ecu (i have everything except the rollover safety switch, including stock fuel tank, guage assembly, and steering collumn)
B)a cheap reliable way to get spark, preferably with a controller that will let me run both sets of plugs
C) a new option, somebody in california willing to trade me this motor+wiring, ecu, fuel tank, and all that for an engine with a distributor. bonus points if it has the manifolds+carb
