Default Power steering pressure line

Anyone had a problem with installing a new pw pump from AZ, and the pressure line is too large to thread into fitting on the resovoir? The crazy thing is, the pump I'm replacing is indeed an AZ pump! Has something changed? Obviously I could go and get an OEM pump. I inherited a life time warranty with this pump and cannot understand what I'm missing here. Help, anyone?

You obviously must have the wrong pump.

I think most pumps are close to the same, BUT, the fittings used to adapt to the hoses may differ. The drilled and tapped port into the body of the pump likely is the same, but the adapter was left with the old pump. The high pressure pump hose fitting may seem loose when you install it, but it is supposed to be able to move. The sealing is done by a ring on the hose.

Actually guys, here's an update: Apparently there was a revision. I ended up ordering a new pressure line just to double check on the off-chance that it would fit. I received it and presto! It fit. So... If you're getting a new pump from AZ or O'Reilly (anything other than OEM I assume), you're going to have to plan on a new pressure line. F*@@ing nerve-racking.
